DescriptionA mahogany gimbel-type boat compass with a 3" diameter sight. The compass is by Ritchie, Boston. The compass is housed in a square dovetailed box with a slat top lift lid and an oval glass window. There are circular brass portholes in either side for lighting. The compass serial number is 19285.
