DescriptionBoxed compass used on the fishing vessel ANGELINE. Wooden box with dove-tailed corners, painted gray. Dry card compass hung on gimballs, in a wooden box, marked with 360 degrees with geographic headings, center white ball marked "Ritchie" and "Boston"; north point or top of compass rose "Ritchie Boston USA". Non-ferrous bowl and gimbal painted black. Box is mahogany painted grey.Provenanceused on fishing vessel ANGELINE
