DescriptionA standard whaling lance with a long metal shank and wooden handle attached at the socket and served with marline. An iron strap is still attached to the end of the wooden handle. Some of the black protective paint is still extant. A cord is tied around the wood handle in three places and copper wire is attached at the butt-end of the handle.On View
