DescriptionThe sword was presented to Capt. F.A. Stall Commander of Clipper Ship "Star of the Union" by the Marine Battery V.C. San Francisco. The sword hilt is highly decorated with ivory; blade is engraved with floral motifs; the top of the hilt is a figure of a soldier's helmet.
