DescriptionWooden handle carved in an octagonal baluster form, terminating in a yellow-metal screw eye with yellow metal ring; curved foreshaft with scalloped edge ornaments divides symetrically to form two saddles facing opposite, each mounting an openwork wheel with openwork five-pointed star hub and fluted rim; surmounted by twin three-prong (three-tine) forks facing opposite, fastened with a yellow-metal rivet; metal axles.ProvenanceMartha M.
