DescriptionLong, curved, delicate handle comprised of three pieces of whale ivory with squared edges, carved architectonic motifs, and shield-shaped openwork; a long three-prong (three-tine) fork, carved from a fourth piece of whale ivory, has a curl underneath; the opposite end terminates in a baluster saddle; whale ivory wheel with open work eight-prong star hub, fluted rim, metal axle.
