DescriptionMonochrome engraved with polychrome highlights, both sides. Recto: Ship approaching a fanciful waterfront town with embankments, buildings, some with towers, and trees. Verso: Similar fanciful buildings, some with towers; stone embankments; trees; overstruck with additional sepia cross-hatching. Circumferential fans-and-spires border around root end. (A previous cataloguer noted " initials 'M. J.' lower center below buildings" on verso -- not found [note EER 1/19/2023: Initials M.J. are present, they are in the cross-hatching]).
