DescriptionThis folding pleated silk fan has ivory sticks and guards with delicately carved decorations. It is a white silk fabric fan leaf with white paint. There is a garland-like decoration and an obscure landscape. There is some stippling and dark metal sequins sewn to the surface. There is an ivory or bone hanging loop and rivet that holds sticks together. The fan also has small lace trim on the top and bottom of the fan leaf.ProvenanceNew Bedford womenOn View
