DescriptionA very large and heavy oak spoke shave with the owner's initials "EM" stamped in the body (twice). The incised diagonal lines are another owner's mark. The 3 1/2" adjustable blade is marked with an unreadable name. It is fixed with wooden wedges. The sole is gently curved - probably used by a cooper.
