DescriptionShip model of ANN of New Bedford. The brigantine was a frequently used vessel in nineteenth-century whaling. The “Ann” an example of a brigantine model that might have been sailor-made in the 1800s. It also is an interesting example of the untrained artist creating a likely-fictional vessel.
