DescriptionOn November 14, 1963, the Norwegian freighter FERNVIEW, collided with the coastal tanker DYNAFUEL, inside the entrance to Buzzards Bay. As smoke billowed from the crippled tanker and Coast Guard firefighters poured water on the glames from the bow of the freighter, Standard-Times staff photographer Ronald Rolo took this photograph of a helicopter dropping containers of foam to the GENERAL GREENE.On View
