DescriptionEngraving with two images, side by side. Text along top "PERSEUS & ANDROMEDA" Image to left of man (Perseus) in Gladiator-type armor with winged ankels. He has a severed head in one hand and sword over other shoulder. He's leaving a cave, with body (missing head) behind. A winged horse flies overhead. "FRONTISPIECE." is printed below. Image to left shows same man flying over water (with severed head and sword in hand). A stylized whale is below him. To right, on land, is a woman (Andromeda)(naked, with cloth draped) chained to a large rock. "PERSEUS DESCENDING." is underneath. Engraved by Cook for J. Nichols, "Genuine Works of Will.
