DescriptionForty-one (41) black and white and fifty-six (56) cyanotypes of local scenes in Westport, Fairhaven and Dartmouth. Tobey was born and died in New Bedford( 1865-1892). There are two watercolors of his in the Old Dartmouth collection including "Beacon at Fort Phoenix. He is included in Mary Jean Blasdale's book, Painters of New Bedford.On View
