DescriptionFormer American naval officer Duncan Craig signs as first mate on an Antarctic ice-breaker. Aobard are Judie Nordahl and Colonel Bland. the girl is journeying to the whalign fleet to investigate the death of her father, Colonel Bland's partner. Craig's investigations implicate Bland's son, Erik and Craig is transferred to a whale-catcher. Judie joins him. When their ship is hemmed in by ice, Erik's "rescuing" vessel deliberately rams and sinks them, causing its own destruction. Craig and Erik battle it out with axes on the ice floes. Erik is drowned. Rescue looms for Craig, Judie and other survivors. Romance looms for Craig and Judie.On View
