Description"Charlie Brower's boy". Cabinet card of a boy in arctic furs standing on the deck of a ship, holding a Winchester carbine, with snow-clad mountains in the background; identified on verso. Charles Bower was the principal whaling station manager and, later, the principal whaling and fur trading entrepreneur at Point Barrow.
