DescriptionThe steamboat Cygnet, unidentified whalers, and other vessels at Merrill's Wharf with the steamer Monohansett at Steamboat Wharf in the background. __The steamer Cygnet (built Noank, CT, 1876) was employed as a ferry from Nonquitt to Cuttyhunk and elsewhere, as was later (1894) owned by the New Bedford Towboat Company.
