DescriptionNorman Fortier's camera surveys Cuttyhunk Island from the air, 1978. The channel into Cuttyhunk Pond anchorage extends in a northwesterly direction from Cuttyhunk Harbor and Canapitsit Channel, neither of which is visible in this image. The Coast Guard Station at the lower right ceased operation in 1964. The small number of boats in the Pond suggests that the photograph was taken in April or November.On View
