DescriptionView of Barabara and woman, Ounalaska. This photo may well have been taken by Lieutenant James C. Cantwell in June of 1885 while engaged onboard the steamer Corwin on a cruise through Alaskan waters. Cantwell is indentified in Healy's account of the voyage as having taken numerous photographs of other locales in Alaska while on that cruise and he is specifically mentioned as having been ashore at Ounalaska in June.On View
