DescriptionJar containing soap made from the oil of a pilot whale. The whale was discovered in Wellfleet, MA on the 20th of November, 1982. The oil was rendered on the 20th of November, 1983. Soap was made on the 10th of March, 1985, for the Kendall Whaling Museum in Sharon, MA. Part of loan from Kendall to the Connecticut Historical Soiciety.
