DescriptionRose amber bowl, mold blown, applied foot, scalloped rim. Rose Amber glass, more commonly known as Amberina, is a two-toned, transparent, glass with a fuschia-red color that blends into amber, or yellow. Rose Amber was created by partially reheating the Amber glass causing only the reheated portion to turn red. T The ware was produced by many glasshouses, and Mount Washington agreed to call their discovery Rose Amber, instead of Amberina.ProvenanceSee: Kenneth M. Wilson, Mt.
