DescriptionSilver (non-ferrous metal) award tray. Rim of tray has carving at each corner and a face carved into the middle of each side. Writing is in the center of the tray within a very intricately designed border. Writing on the tray reads, "Presented / to / S.P. Brown / by the / Mechanics and Laborers / of the / Potomska Mills / Dec 25th 1871." Maker is engraved on the bottom of the tray: "Rogers Smith Co. / New Haven / Conn."On View
