DescriptionLarge prize pitcher with very intricate carvings and engravings. Lid is on a hine with a man as the handle. The inside of the pitcher is white, possibly ceramic) and there is a large handle on the side. Engravings on the front read, "Prize / Presented to / Pioneer Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1 / By Citizens of New-Bedford / At the / Contest / July 4, 1877." Bottom reads "Meriden B Company" "Pat'd June 13 1868" "Pat'd Nov 30 1868"On View
