DescriptionAn unmarked symmetrical wood harpoon sheath (double flue) carved from a single piece of spruce with carved letters (W B, probably for waist boat) and drilled for pin keeper and lanyard. It was originally painted dark green.Provenance"HWK" numbered objects are from Henry W. Kendall's personal collection, distinct from the larger Kendall Whaling Museum collection.
