DescriptionThis off-white silk handkerchief is bordered with a hem bordered with a stitched detail. One corner of the hem has an intricate black ink detail of a flowering vase with a ribbon reading "Susan Church" in elegant script. There is evidence of slubs, perhaps indicating the fabric to be of a type of raw silk.
