DescriptionA brown pouch or reticule with two strips of embroidery: (1) the middle strip is made up of pink flowers with green leaves; and (2) the strip on the bottom of the purse is a red background with differing colored designs. Also known as a reticule or "indispensable". These small handbags became popular when the empire-style gowns made pockets impractical. On View
