DescriptionDrawing done on paper with pencil and some red pencil. The drawing appears to be a sketch of the subject to be used for another more detailed drawing in the future. Artist states it is an '18 inch Plate' and it is from the ' No 2 Quaker Silver Co.' There are many sketch lines to make points of reference. The details for the rim are drawn on the right side and the details for the inside of the plate on the left side of the page. The rim is done in a fleur-de-lis style while the center of the plate is a sunburst style. The center is a plain circle which the artist states the word 'punty'. There is also a side sketch on the bottom of the page to show the height dimensions of the plate. The artist again states the word 'punty' at the base of the plate and 'flat here' at the rims. On the top and the bottom of the full plate sketch the artist states 'No cutting here (silver mounted)'. Twice he states 'straight sided miters' when referencing the design on the inside of the plate. On View
