DescriptionA shallow sweep chamfer knife with a 5" edge length. A tag attached notes its use on the whaleship GAIL from 1850-1852 on a voyage to the Bering Strait. The knife has a hickory handle and a steel ferrule. Won "First Premium" prize at the Chautauqua County Fair, Dunkirk NY On View
