DescriptionLiverpool transfer ware pitcher, also known as creamware. Green leaf garland pattern around the top of the pitcher and inside spout. Full-rigged ship in monchrome transfer on one side, long banner streaming from its mainmast and American flag from the taffrail. Below spout is the American eagle with outstretched wings, set behind an American shield and grasping arrows in talons and holding a banner "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak. Vignette of a combined rustic scene above, lengthy verse in the middle, and a port scene at the bottom.
