DescriptionThis is an early Spode Bat printed tea cup printed in charcoal grey monochrome with a view from the Landscape series. Includes gilt rim and distinctive Spode handle decoration.

Black decoration with small almost undetachable gilt band surrounded by leaves at top of rim. China teacup is white with a double line gold border at the top rim and a single, gold border at the bottom of the cup. The front of the cup has an image of a large field with trees on on the side and a house in the distance with mountains behind it. The handle of the cup is outlined in gold and has a gold pattern.
