DescriptionChinese export porcelain bowls. Imari style. On 3/4" base with blue underglaze. blue band 5/8" up exterior from top of base. Double blue band inside just below top rim, circumference. Four sprays of floral motif, two with blue and orange floral motif and green and orange fruit with gold outline on trunk and branches; two with blue and orange floral motif, orange fruit with green leaves on vine. Identical to 1976.9.4ProvenanceBowls originally given to Elizabeth Barney at the time of her marriage to William Rotch Sr., October 31, 1754.
