DescriptionProgram set within border; shell and seaweed form letter "P" with shading behind; conch shell at bottom. Outside border at top left corner is fishnet and birds. Foliage at bottom left corner. Shell, fish, and starfish at bottom right corner. Birds and shading on left side. High rocky cliffs and waves inset into left corner. Program by Mr. Anton Seidl and orchestra given at 11 East 68th Street, Tuesday Feb. 9th. Ink smudges around edge.ProvenanceAnton Seidl (1850-1898) was a famous conductor at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City among other appearances. "Mr. Herbert" referenced in the program is Victor Herbert, the famous composer, who started as solo cellist and assistant conductor to Mr. Seidl.
