DescriptionBoot jack carved out of two thick slabs of sperm whale panbone, with scalloped edge ornaments and two brass posts on one, a pierced-work heart and two pierced-work lozenges on the other (the latter to accommodate the two brass posts), butt-jointed with a brass screw and brass rivet fastenings, trimmed with strips of copper and copper fastenings.
