DescriptionA framed sampler of cross stitch has worked four alphabets and numerals to 12 in multicolored thread. There is a border around the upper portion, and the rest of the border is incomplete.[MCS 12/2006] Unbleached linen plain weave open ground fabric. Cross stitched. Sampler has upper and lower case alphabets, numerals, then upper case alphabet repeated. Between the rows of letters are lines of pulled work stitches. Floral meander border on top and down one-third of each side. No lower border. No name or date.
