DescriptionWooden electric lamp made from a block and sheave with a wooden base with four whalebone feet. The block has a whalebone whale embedded in the center on both sides and four round pieces of whalebone around the edges on both sides. The base of the shaft is encased in whalebone. The top of the shaft is brass with receptacles for two light bulbs. (Originally the lamp pulls were made of whalebone according to the old gift book.)
