DescriptionWhaleboat.ProvenanceLee Koozata, one of the owners, told John Bockstoce that it had been bought from Capt. C.T.Pedersen of HERMAN owned by a Fur Co. Used by the Koozata familyfor spring whaling & summer travel until 1940.It remained in boat rack until 1976, Bockstoce took it to Nome.
