DescriptionCrocheted bedspread. Bedspread in an off-white, cream color, crocheted in a series of hexagonal segments. Each hexagon is identical to the next in size, shape, and design, with a central, circular design surrounded by six groups of three abstracted decorative motifs remniscent of a leaf pattern. Each of these groups appears to "fan out" from each corner of the hexagon. A long (4 1/2") fringe borders three of the four sides of the bedspread.ProvenanceRose (Kern) Powell (1876-1964) was born in Augsburg, Germ. and lived on 256 Eugenia St., New Bedford
