DescriptionA Boston Rocker (child's) is made of grained pine and maple. The pine wood slab seat is serpentine shape. The four legs are slotted attached to the rockers. The front legs are turned above the stretcher in ring, reel, and vase-shape. The front stretcher are turned center ring and reel tapered toward either side. The rear legs are tapered toward the seat. A comb-shaped crest rail with four spindles isconnected to the seat with rings of yellow paint decoration.ProvenanceWalton Ricketson presumed owner. Woodlee refers to Ricketson residence 1845.
