DescriptionPeach Blow vase with a mouth folded into three ruffles. Peach Blow is a partially shaded ware with colors shifting from bluish white to slightly bluish pink. A variation of the popular Rose Amber or 'Amberina,' Peach Blow is a heat sensitive glass whose pale blue turns to pale pink when reheated. Peach Blow was created to imitate porcelain, at a time when collecting rare porcelain objects was out of reach for most consumers.
