DescriptionA desk ornament or paperweight made of cast metal in the form of the classic fouled sea-monster dolphin. The motif has a sphere suspended between the two pairs of flukes and surmounted by fleur de lis. The casting is bronze and the dolphins and the fleur de lis is gilded. The sphere is painted midnight blue. The motif is mounted on a platform with gilded trim. [Similar to 2001.100.3803].
