DescriptionOpen work sewing or yarn basket constructed of pierced-work sides of whale skeletal bone, carved with geometric patterns; solid wood base, surface overlaid with different woods (seven triangles, a seven-pointed star), ebony (seven triangles), and a whale ivory septagon.
