DescriptionA slat-back Windsor side chair fitted with four elongated triangular spindles between the back posts and beneath the crest. The wood is painted black with Venetian red stripes. The front stretcher has a circular pattern and spurs and is flat on the front and back. According to Nancy G. Evans this is probably a New York piece.
