DescriptionViolin with thick scroll, asymmetrical. Pegs modern; topnut ebony, and worn ebony fingerboard tilt to end. Button off-center; neck worn, flat angle with body. Strings modern. Modern viola bridge; original bridge 2" x 1 3/4". Modern boxwood tailpiece and endpin, off-center hole. Bassbar, sound post; perfling woodburnt; sound holes "s" not "f"; belly wood large coarse grain, 1 piece, high curve. Multiple cracks, some with glue, warped. Back 1 piece highly figured, scratched, honey varnish. Bouts up asymmetrical, center too small.
