DescriptionA lithograph published by Oliver Ditson & Co. 277 Washington St. It is a sheet music cover with a view of the North Christian Church in black and white. Below the title and above the dedication is a view of the North Christian Church showing the facade and the north side. This view shows the church in its original state before the widening of Purchase St. required the removal of the front stairs, railing and lanterns.ProvenanceNorth Christian Church stood at the S. W. corner of Purchase and Middle Streets. It was built in 1833 by Dudley Davenport from designs by Russell Warren. The building was demolished prior to 1926.
