DescriptionSmall tusk, monochrome engraved both sides. Recto: (characteristic Happy Jack-style cartoon figure) in a kayak approaching a sea lion on an ice floe; cribbage board of which the central vignette is two fish (salmon) being fished by a line, hook, and weight held by a right hand with cuff and sleeve; circumferential outline map of the Alaska coast (unlabeled; no text). Peg foot; swivel lid of walrus ivory. Two small pegs are removable.
